1. Fishing
If adult eel cultivation is carried out in a pond, it is generally necessary to take the measures of rotating fishing and releasing. The fishing time is mainly determined according to the growth of eel and the needs of domestic and foreign markets. Generally, it can be fished about four times a year, that is, early June, late July, early September and middle November. Using the fishing net for spring fish and the fishing method of the four famous domestic fishes, the water lifting rate can reach more than 90%. Stop eating for a day before fishing, and be careful in operation. It is best to fish in high temperature in summer before dawn. After catching eels, they should be immediately placed in the downstream of the waterwork-type aerator for hanging. Early spring and late autumn can be caught at noon, and eels are not vulnerable to injury.
2. Sorting
Sorting is to divide the caught eels into different sizes, export or supply the eels weighing more than 150 grams to the domestic market, and keep the eels that do not meet the commodity specifications. The sorting of edible eels is mainly carried out by using eel separation tanks.
3. Transportation
There are two transportation methods for edible eels: plastic bag oxygenation transportation and eel box watering transportation. The former is suitable for long-distance transportation, and the latter is suitable for short-distance transportation. The shipping volume of edible eel is generally large, and the specification of plastic bag is 40 × 60 cm, each bag can hold 10 kg of edible eel, plus 15 kg of water at 10 ℃. In the summer high temperature season, bagging needs to adopt the "three-stage temperature reduction method" to gradually reduce the water temperature to about 10 ℃. At this time, the eel can adapt to the low temperature environment, and can be bagged, oxygenated and transported. Eel boxes are used for transportation. Each eel box can hold 3-4 kg of edible eels. Generally, 4-5 boxes are bundled into a set, and each set can hold about 20 kg of eels. The transportation method and precautions are similar to those of eel seedlings.
